The classic man, Jidenna, looks to be 100% ready to get the ball rolling in regards to his debut studio album. Just earlier this month, the rapper/singer went on to release a first taste of the album with his single, “The Let Out,” featuring Migos’ own, Quavo. Keeping the ball in his court, Jidenna switches it up for round two with “Bambi.”
A slower pace, but still fitting in with the Jidenna sound, “Bambi” is Jidenna pouring his heart out to the love of his life. Laced with clever animal references and a plea for love, it’s very easy to find yourself lost in the overall groove of what’s being delivered with “Bambi.” A side that many have not seen from Jidenna as of yet, his debut album, The Chief, will be one worth listening to.
