
As quiet as it has been kept, Dreamville has had any incredible year. This year, Cozz kicked off with his project, Effected. From there, J. Cole dropped K.O.D went on an international arena tour with Young Thug and Jaden Smith. A few months later, Bas came through with his first project since 2016. Towards the end of the year, Ari Lennox began making wave thanks to a few new singles and a feature on the soundtrack for Creed II. Not to mention, EarthGang has been adding in new music throughout the year. With everything going well for the J. Cole led label, J.I.D has emerged as the next up out of the camp.
This Thanksgiving holiday, J.I.D set the tone with his new project, DiCaprio II. Filled with features from Ari Lennox, J. Cole, BJ The Chicago Kid and more, the project received great reviews from fans and critics alike. Most recently, J.I.D took to late night television to perform his track, “Skrawberries”, with BJ The Chicago Kid and Thundercat on Jimmy Fallon. Riding the wave off his latest project, the Atlanta native has released the latest video off of his new project. Directed by Cole Bennett, the new video for “Off Deez” comes complete with an appearance from Dreamville CEO, J. Cole.
