Jhene Aiko is back with a new record. Titled, “Wasted Love Freestyle 2018” Aiko’s sings about a love lost.
“How did we get away from love? How did love get away from us?” are the words the singer croons during the chorus.
Many listeners are wondering if the new song is about the end of her high-profile relationship with rapper Big Sean. Rumors circulated last month that the two broke-up when the singer covered up her tattoo of Sean’s face.
Aiko first teased the song to fans on Instagram live and then tweeted the link to the song on Twitter Monday evening. “Wasted Love Freestyle 2018” is the first single since the Slauson Hills native dropped her second studio album Trip.
