The Milwaukee Bucks continue to add depth with the signing of former Brooklyn Nets point guard Jevon Carter. He was waived by the Brooklyn Nets so the team could sign veteran point guard Goran Dragic after his contract was bought out by the San Antonio Spurs. The Bucks also recently added former Brooklyn Nets wing DeAndre Bembry after he was waived by the team. Milwaukee has been short of depth on both the wing and at the point guard position this season.
Guard Jevon Carter plans to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Reggie Brown of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Carter will clear waivers on Wednesday after Brooklyn released him to sign Goran Dragic.

Injuries and trades left the team short on depth in the regular season and the team is hoping Jevon Carter will help alleviate the issue moving forward. The Milwaukee Bucks have another NBA Championship run on the mind. Carter only averaged 12 minutes per game with the Nets this season, but in that time he averaged 3.6 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He is also a good defender and can provide some depth moving forward.
Did some digging on Jevon Carter and found this pretty interesting. When defended by Carter this season, guards are shooting:
• 41-of-111 (36.9 percent) from the floor.
• 11-of-51 (21.6 percent) from three.
Should be a solid addition to this Milwaukee defense. pic.twitter.com/5M5oZUqfr9

Leaving the 2022 All-Star break the Milwaukee Bucks are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, but only 2.5 games behind the one seed. They have some work to do, but with some reinforcements on the team, they will try and cover some ground. This team is looking to become back-to-back NBA Champions.
