Jessica Chastain has been offered a role in Mission: Impossible 5.
The actress is in line to join Tom Cruise in the action sequel, according to Schmoes Know.
There is no word yet on Chastain’s potential role in the film.
Simon Pegg will reprise his role as Benji, and Paula Patton and Jeremy Renner are also expected to return.
Christopher McQuarrie will replace Brad Bird as the director for the fifth installment of the series.
Chastain is currently in talks to play Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming Blonde.
She will be seen in the upcoming Miss. Julie, Interstellar and Crimson Peak.
Mission Impossible:5 is set to open December 25, 2015.
