
Jerry Stackhouse is expected to be named head coach of the Raptors 905 according to Upside & Motor.
Raptors 905 are the D-League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, where Stackhouse was an assistant coach last year.
Stackhouse retired after his 18th season in 2012-2013, Stackhouse averaged 16.9 points per game while playing for eight teams in his career.
Stackhouse had the opportunity to coach the Raptors summer league team this year, he got to coach young players like Delon Wright, Norm Powell and Bruno Caboclo. Stackhouse will now be coaching plenty of young talent in the D-League.
Stackhouse also created his own AAU team and coached the second overall pick in this year’s NBA Brandon Ingram.
Stackhouse had a very good NBA career and all signs point to him having a good coaching career.
