As a first time violator Kerley will be subject to a 4 game suspension. The earliest Kerley could return to the team would be December 11. The receiver would miss games against the Buccaneers, Panthers, Chiefs, and Broncos.
Losing Kerley will not strike a major blow for the Jets offense as Robby Anderson has emerged as the teams main threat at receiver.
On the season Kerley has 22 receptions for 217 yards and one touchdown.
