It has definitely been a wild day across the country and we’re just getting started. To keep you up to date, judges in several states are asking that polls stay open late, Brian Kemp has been sued again and early voting records have been broken. Not to mention, Beyonce endorsed Beto O’Rourke. Dave Chappelle endorsed Ben Jealous. Travis Scott offered free concert tickets to voters. To top it all off, many midterm elections won’t even be decided tonight. With all of that being said, a few candidates can celebrate victories tonight. According to multiple reports, Jennifer Wexton is projected to unseat Barbara Comstock in one of the most important midterm races in the country.
Current reports indicated that the Democrat from Virginia holds a lead of approximately 26,000 votes. If she holds on, she will unseat the two term Republican en route to a key victory for the Democratic party. Throughout the campaign, the projected winner hammered her opponent as a Trump supporter. She even went as far as to call her “Trump-Stock” in several ads.
