Jennifer Lawrence’s upcoming biopic about entrepreneur Joy Mangano has finally received a release date.
20th Century Fox has confirmed that Joy will be released on Christmas Day in 2015.
The Christmas Day release will put Joy up against Mission Impossible 5 and Kung Fu Panda 3.
Joy will chronicle the journey of Mangano from being a Long Island housewife to finding worldwide success as the inventor of the Miracle Mop.
Annie Mumolo is writing the screenplay for Joy, following her box office success with the Oscar-nominated Bridesmaids.
