Today has been all about revivals and reboots. Hours ago, Netflix shared the trailer for the latest edition to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. Now, multiple outlets are reporting that Jennifer Garner is among the latest addition to the Party Down revival at Starz. In addition, The Hollywood Reporter suggests that Tryel Jackson Williams, Zoë Chao and James Marsden will also appear in the series. Garner and company will join a cast that already includes Jane Lynch, Martin Starr, Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Megan Mullally and Ryan Hansen.
As it stands now, Garner will play the role of a top movie producer who is working through a rough breakup. Meanwhile, Williams will play an influencer who seems to be clueless about everything outside of his work. Over at Party Down, Chao plays the role of an aspiring foodie with hopes of becoming a celebrity chef. Floating in the background, Marsden in on tap to play an actor who leads a popular superhero movie franchise.
At this time, it’s unclear when the Party Down revival will hit the silver screen.
