Former NBA player Jeff Adrien has reportedly been arrested for grand theft auto, according to TMZ. The 29 year old who played with the Minnesota Timberwolves last season allegedly stole a car from a hotel, took it on a joyride, and returned it. The owner has claimed that the car suffered damages and smelled of marijuana.
Adrien was arrested by the LAPD on charges of grand theft auto. He was later released on $25k bail. No reports have surfaced about when his inevitable court dates will be. Adrien’s chances of making a comeback to the NBA are probably not very high right now.
