Saski Baskonia has strengthened their backcourt by signing Uruguayan point guard Jayson Granger to a three-year deal, the club announced.

This is a return to Liga ACB by Granger who spent the past two seasons in Turkey with Anadolu Efes Istanbul. Before that, Granger played for Unicaja Malaga in the ACB.
Last season with Efes, Granger helped the club push Olympiacos to their limits as they got to a do or die Game 5 with the Greek club with the winner qualifying for the Euroleague Final Four.
Granger helped Efes reach these heights as he started 32 of the 35 games he played in for the Turkish club last season, averaged 25.5mpg, 9.71ppg, 3.86apg, and shot 33-percent from three-point range.
Head coach Pablo Prigioni’s backcourt is probably set now as Baskonia added Jordan McRae a few days ago. The two of them join Marcelo Huertas, who the club signed earlier this summer, and Rodrigue Beaubois who remains from last seasons squad.
