The Boston Celtics are one of the best teams in the NBA, there’s no doubt about that. Despite a slow start (for a team like Boston) as the Celtics sit at just 6-4, they will undoubtedly be in talks to win the Eastern Conference and have a shot at winning a championship in June.
Starting wing Jaylen Brown, who is 22-years-old, recently predicted himself to win five championships before he turns 28-years-old in an interview with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks:

Even though the Celtics are an elite team and one of the favorite’s to win their conference, that’s a bold take from the former University of California forward. The Celtics haven’t even made the NBA Finals since 2010, and only starting point guard Kyrie Irving has any Finals experience. Not to mention, the Golden State Warriors have shown no signs of slowing down as they shoot for their third straight championship and fourth in five years.
It’s a great showing of confidence from Brown, though, who has improved tremendously in each of his three seasons in the league, showing even All-Star potential. Brown has always been a confident player, even during the go-big-or-go-home environment of the playoffs. The Celtics well-rounded lineup of Irving, Brown, Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward, and Al Horford has arguably the best chance in the league to take down the perpetually unstoppable Warriors.
The third overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft has shown extreme confidence in the Celtics throughout his career, and it can be assumed that he is referring to his current franchise when he discussed himself winning the titles.
