Cal’s super freshman Jaylen Brown has announced that he will go pro. It was expected that Brown would only spend one year playing for the Golden Bears, and now it is official. Brown has a huge ceiling, and he could definitely be drafted in the top 5 of this years draft.

Brown is definitely a pro-ready freshman, and he has the potential to be a star one day in the NBA. He looked like a top pick during his senior year in high school when he lead Wheeler High School to the Georgia 6A State Championship and was ranked 4th on ESPN’s top 100. At Cal, he won the PAC-12 Freshman of the Year award, he was a finalist for National Freshman of the Year, was one of Cal’s leading scorers, and led the Golden Bears to a 4th seed in the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history before losing in the round of 32.
I will be continuing my education, I want to make sure I say that. I’m talking with my advisor about how to graduate as quickly as possible.
