Jay-Z has reportedly signed his former mentor Jaz-O to Roc Nation. According to OnSmash, JAY-Z has inked Jaz-O to a distribution deal. OnSmash reports, “the announcement was made back in April on Big Jaz’s gram page, and was brought to our attention through a person on staff.”
Through the deal, Jaz-O’s Kingz Kounty Media Group will receive Equity Distribution from the imprint.
The pair reunited in 2017 for the first time in almost twenty years after their 2002 fallout. The fallout reportedly stems from Jaz-O declining to sign to JAY’s newly launched Roc-A-Fella records, citing the $300,000 deal, and other grievances.
