It’s not often that fans get a Jay-Z verse. Fortunately, the Brooklyn native has delivered three star verses this year on Certified Lover Boy, Donda and the Judas and the Black Messiah soundtrack. To end the year, the legendary artist is back with a new track that features fellow New York legend Jadakis along with a legend in the making in Conway The Machine. The trio’s newest record serves as the lead single for the The Harder They Hall soundtrack. Executive produced by Jay-Z, the film stars Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors, Regina King and Zazie Beetz in a action-packed western.
“When outlaw Nat Love discovers that his enemy Rufus Buck is being released from prison he rounds up his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge. Those riding with him in this assured, righteously new school Western include his former love Stagecoach Mary, his right and left hand men — hot-tempered Bill Pickett and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth — and a surprising adversary-turned-ally. Rufus Buck has his own fearsome crew, including ‘Treacherous’ Trudy Smith and Cherokee Bill , and they are not a group that knows how to lose,” the film’s description reads, according to Hypebeast.
