As the entire TDE family prepares to visit Dallas for the next stop of The Championship Tour, Jay Rock has blessed our ears with his Kendrick Lamar assisted single, “Win”. The Boi-1da and Vinlyz produced banger comes complete with incredible production and Kendrick Lamar ad-libs. Jay Rock gets to business on the first verse, rapping, “I ain’t chasin’ after no b*tch/I got bigger plans than stayin’ rich/I’ve been tapped in since I was six/I tap dance all on a brick/And your diamonds like tap water/That shit way too foggy/These VVSs way awesome/Parked CLS for baby mama/Drop to your death without warnin’.”
Jay Rock also used his newest single to hint at an upcoming album. The Watts native rapped, “You might wanna keep score, I win, win, win, win/Forearm tattoos/ That’s squad, squad, squad, squad/All of them gon’ shoot/Don’t try, try, try, try/I walk in a room/Their eyes wide, wide, wide/Third album comin’ soon/I’m glad y’all gon’ die.”
In an interview earlier this year, Jay Rock noted that the release of his next album was delayed because of a motorcycle accident he was involved with. However, Jay Rock assured his fans, “I was just healing up, and when I healed up, I just locked in the studio. It’s mixed up, it’s ready to go. You know, it’s the business side, as far as getting things cleared and things of that nature. But it’s ready to go.”
