Jay Critch has been steadily building within New York and beyond thanks to his music and style. Currently signed to Rich Forever, the Brooklyn native has dropped records like “Fashion”, “Did It Again”, “Speak Up” and other bangers that you’ve probably heard. Despite being left off of the 2018 XXL Freshman List, Jay Critch is moving forward on his own path to success. The first step on that path is releasing the visuals for his latest single, “Sweepstakes”.
Jay Critch starts off “Sweepstakes” by rapping, “They ain’t talkin’ money f*ck what he say and she say/Diamonds super smutty, think my wrist need a replay/Big body Benz, do the dash on a freeway/I get to the bands, run it back like a relay/Nowadays I’m winnin’ like the sweepstakes.” Directed by John Rawlins, Jay Critch’s video for “Sweepstakes” is everything that he describes in the first few lines of the song. He’s dipping through the city in nice cars, flashing jewelry, showing off his cash and flexing with his crew.
The visuals for “Sweepstakes” will keep his fan base fed while the Brooklyn rapper prepares for the release of his Hood Favorite mixtape. Last month, Critch released two new songs, “Sweepstakes” and “Robin Hood”, which will likely be on the mixtape. While we wait for Critch’s next move, enjoy the video for “Sweepstakes”.
