No more Shaq-tin-a-fool in Philadelphia. After being traded by the Denver Nuggets to the Philadephia 76ers, JaVale McGee is looking for a buyout with the Sixers.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN:
ESPN sources say Sixers and JaVale McGee are having discussions on potential buyout as today's playoff-eligibility buzzer looms at midnight

With McGee due $12 million guaranteed next season, chances of buyout likely depend on JaVale finding new team that wants to bring him in now

Upon being dealt to Philly McGee said he did NOT want buyout. But he'd be eligible to play in playoffs for another team if waived by midnite

This comes with the last minute, playoff signings that will probably start happening before the deadline. Once the buyout happens, JaValee is available for any team to grab. The Clippers, and other teams that need some depth down low, will definitely look to McGee for his size and length.
