Jason Terry hasn’t played a single game this season in the NBA but that doesn’t mean he’s finished. Over the Dallas Mavericks’ broadcast during Saturday’s win, Terry said that he would ‘answer the phone’ if the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers or Mavericks called, according to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.
Jason Terry is retired unless he gets a call from the Lakers, Warriors or Mavericks. “Then I’ll answer the phone,” he said on the Mavs’ broadcast of Saturday’s win over the Rockets.

Does the 41-year-old former Sixth Man of the Year have much to offer a team outside of some veteran leadership? That will remain to be seen but he can absolutely prove to be someone who provides some valuable insight and wise words for the next generation.
Last season, Terry played in 51 games for the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 3.3 points in 16 minutes per game. The Jet has played on six different teams throughout his 18-year career but is most notably known for his time in Dallas.
In 2011, Terry won his only NBA title with the Dallas Mavericks. This past summer, Terry was asked if he would like to retire as a Maverick, he replied, ‘That would be incredible, that’s definitely on my bucket list,’ according to Fantastic View on Youtube.
