Jason Terry is one of those players that is considered dependable and for some reason likes to move from team to team.
But Terry is getting on a bit now in terms of age and like all aging players, Jason wants that one more chance to win a ring. And to do that, might a return to Dallas be an option? According to ESPN Dallas it just might be.
I won’t rule out returning back to Dallas. It’s my home and my heart.
I bleed blue. I’m a Maverick.
That’s a little awkward considering he plays for the Sacramento Kings but he didn’t hesitate to say why he prefers Dallas’ championship chances compared to Sacramento’s.
I wouldn’t say it’s rebuilding, but a building process.
DeMarcus Cousins, a huge talent. Attitude, a little shaky. Rudy Gay, not a proven winner in this league but a tremendous talent and a guy you can build around.
They’re in transition right now. For me, at this point in my career, I want championships.
In order for Terry to go to Dallas, Sacramento would have to buy out the rest of Terry’s contract, roughly $5.9 Million.
If I was Sacramento, I’d look at this as a trade opportunity. If Dallas feels the same for Terry. Maybe they’ll trade for him. Who knows.
