The Boston Celtics have agreed to a three-year deal with former Sixth Man of the Year, Jason Terry. The Mavericks back-up last season will sign with Boston on the mid-level exception for around $5 million per year. The deal is worth $15 million over the course of the contract. Terry has spent the past eight seasons with the Mavericks – and helped them win a championship last season.
Despite the signing, Boston are still determined to keep Ray Allen who has been courted by teams such as Miami and the Los Angeles Clippers.
