The Michigan State Spartans saw their season come to a premature end after the Syracuse Orange knocked them out of the 2018 NCAA Tournament in the second round. The Spartans were heavy favorites given the fact they had two potential lottery picks in Jaren Jackson and Miles Bridges on their roster but it was a struggle to get those two talents going. Unfortunately for Spartans fans, that will be the last time we see either of them on the court for MSU.
Just a few days after Miles Bridges declared for the 2018 NBA Draft, Jaren Jackson announced he would be doing the same. Jackson shared the news on his Twitter account.

Jackson is touted by many to be a potential top five pick in the upcoming 2018 NBA Draft and we even have him ranked at fourth heading into the 2018 NCAA Tournament. Our mock draft author, Gabe Esquivel, wrote the following on the former Spartans big man.
Jaren Jackson has been receiving much more national praise as of late and is creeping up most boards. The elite two-way big man remains at four right now but has a legitimate shot at cracking the top three at some point.
