Jared Leto has officially entered talks for Brilliance.
The actor is in line to replace Will Smith in Julius Onah’s sci-fi/superhero film, reports Variety.
Based on Marcus Sakey’s novel, the Legendary Pictures film will be set in a world in which some people are born as super-powered ‘brilliants’.
The film centers around a federal agent with hunting abilities set on the trail of a brilliant terrorist.
Noomi Rapace will also star in the movie.
Leto was last seen in his Oscar-winning supporting role in Dallas Buyers Club.
Brilliance is yet to announce a release date.
