James Harden Reportedly Joining The 3-Point Contest At All-Star Weekend
James Harden, the NBA’s leading scorer, will be joining the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Wesley Matthews, Kyle Korver, and reigning champion Marco Belinelli in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest
at NBA All-Star Weekend, via Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Kyrie Irving was the latest participant
reportedly added, which made this contest even more fascinating. J.J. Redick was originally invited but wont participate because of a back injury.
Harden has the same affect. He’s at 38 percent from three this season and you know he likes to fall back and pull that trigger behind the line. I can see Harden being strong in that stand still shooting format as well. This contest is obviously about getting hot, and honestly, the guys who get the hottest behind that three-point line are in this contest. So anything goes.
The final list of participants will be announced tonight at 7 PM.
