The Philadelphia 76ers have announced that newly acquired guard James Harden will be out through the 2022 All-Star Weekend. He is continuing to rehab his left hamstring and will not play in the 2022 All-Star Game. There was some speculation that he may make his debut before, but the 76ers are in no rush for the guard to make his debut with Philadelphia. The team is hoping that the trade that brought him to the team will help them win the NBA Finals this year, so patience is expected.
The Sixers say James Harden is out through the All-Star break as he continues to rehabilitate his left hamstring, and that he won’t play in the All-Star Game.

James Harden has had an amazing career and will one day likely be inducted into the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame. There is one thing that has escaped him thus far in his NBA career though. That thing is, of course, an NBA Championship. Pairing the former MVP with Joel Embiid could be the missing link to get him what he’s always wanted. Could the move to Philadelphia win the guard his first NBA Finals?

The relationship between Harden and the Brooklyn Nets soured after less than a year and the team would eventually trade him for Ben Simmons. This blockbuster trade was expected, but still shocked the NBA world when it was announced. We here at Def Pen Sports wish the star shooting guard a quick recovery and return to the court for the Philadelphia 76ers.
