Jimmy Butler and James Harden are the players of the week of December 21st- December 28th. James Harden averaged 34.7 points and 4.3 rebounds adding 7.3 assists and 2.3 steals, not to mention 1 block. Jimmy Butler averaged 23 points 7 rebounds and 3.3 assists and 2 blocks. Both these players really helped out their teams.
Jimmy Butler was outstanding, like he’s been this entire year. He is the front-runner for Most Improved Player Of The Year, and honestly no one is close to him. When Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol were out, he pushed them to compete. Now that Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol are back the Chicago Bulls are a serious force to reckon with.
James Harden also propelled his team. The Houston Rockets are now a little bit more legitimate with the addition of revived Josh Smith. With Dwight Howard, James Harden and possibly Josh Smith, the Houston Rockets are pretty good and in shape to make a run at the title. James Harden has been proving haters wrong as he’s been averaging 2.3 steals and even a block?!
Congratulations to both of them.
