More people telling people that they are the MVP. In the eyes of the NBA and all it’s fans, there should be only 3 real candidates for the MVP race; Stephen Curry, James Harden and LeBron James. Stephen Curry has led his team to the #1 record in the NBA and in the Western Conference. James Harden is a scoring machine that has led his team without Dwight Howard, to a top 4 spot in the West. LeBron James is LeBron James.
James Harden, like any other MVP candidate, believes he is the MVP. According to NBA.com:
“I feel as though I am the MVP,” said Harden said. “I think the MVP is the most valuable player to your team. Obviously you have to be winning and be one of the top teams in this league and we are.
“I’m not taking credit away from anybody else in the league. But I’ve been consistent all year. I’ve just been doing the right things to put my team in situations to win, considering all of the different circumstances we’ve had to deal with.”
James Harden definitely has a case, he is going to be the scoring champion this year. He led a team riddled with injuries to Dwight Howard, Terrence Jones, and company, to a top 4 spot in the Western Conference, while leading the league in 30 point games
this season.
