James Harden has been making some statements recently. And the crazy statements just keep on rolling in.
According to CBS Sports, James Harden thinks that he should be the leader of Team USA now that Durant is out of the picture.
“I think these past couple of years have prepared myself for this situation, seeing how I can lead a team in the Rockets,” Harden said Tuesday.
And what has experience taught him?
“
That I’m capable of leading a team,” he said. “Obviously, I’m still learning; I have a long way to go. But the first couple of steps are going to be good.
“
I don’t think anybody can lead the USA team. Look back to 2012. Was there a clear leader? Not exactly. Sure somebody has to lead on points, rebounds etc. But other than the stats. There’s no clear leader. So once again, James Harden is crazy. Good luck with that.
