James Harden has reportedly agreed to a max deal with the Houston Rockets. For all the criticism Harden took at turning down the Thunder’s four-year, $54 million deal last week, he is set to make almost $25 million more with his new Houston deal over the next five-years. The contract is worth somewhere close to $80 million.
Houston acquired Oklahoma’s sixth man via trade just days ago and immediately made it know that Harden was to be a key building block in their quest to become a perennial championship contender, with the player himself stating that he would sign a contract extension with the Rockets.
