Another week, another Player of the week to hand out. And this week it’s a couple of superstars taking over their teams and leading to wins.
James Harden has been killing it recently. My god he is on fire, rocket red, hot fire. There ain’t enough adjectives in the dictionary. a 4-0 week. 30.3 points, 6.8 assists and 2.5 steals, beast week in terms of average
21 points and 11 assists in a win over Miami, 41 in an overtime win over Portland. Player of the week indeed.
On the Eastern side of the NBA we have Carmelo and the lowly Knicks. Barring the Knicks and their complete unwatchability this season, Melo and the Knicks have been very good this week. Anthony averaged 29.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.8 steals during the week, Knicks went 3-1 and are slowly coming back into the Playoff picture.
Notable performances for Melo. 33 in a win at Minnesota and 29 with eight assists in a win over the Jazz.
