Jai Courtney has signed on to play Kyle Reese in the upcoming ‘Terminator: Genesis’ reboot.
According to Variety, Courtney beat out Boyd Holbrook who also auditioned for the role.
Emilia Clarke will play Sarah Conor and Jason Clarke will play John Conor. Arnold Schwarzenegger is also set to reprise his iconic role as the Terminator. He wasn’t kidding when he said “I’ll be back”.
No plot details have been announced except this is a stand alone film in a new trilogy.
‘Terminator: Genesis’ is expected to raid theaters on July 1, 2015.
