Oh Jahlil. Why of all things would you do the classic College move of using a fake ID? I mean really?
Now you know this wouldn’t be a thing if he didn’t try to knock out a guy. And even if John Gonzalez of CSN Philly posted this story regardless it’s only a fake ID, all normal College kids do that. But not all College kids are nearly 7 feet and has “Professional basketball player” as their occupation.
In late October, Okafor allegedly presented a fake I.D. at Misconduct Tavern in Center City, according to two sources with knowledge of the situation. Okafor, 19, was refused service, the sources said. One of the sources said he was surprised because Okafor is “a big guy” and “famous” and “pretty easy to recognize.”
As I said previously, Jahlil is learning a life lesson here. You do dumb stuff and the media will not hesitate to throw a light on it.
It’s clear he’s still a little green in terms of getting used to being a professional. He’s still in College mode, responding badly to heckling, reckless driving, using a fake ID. All something a professional should not be doing. Now is the time to grow up Jah.
