J.R. Smith is calling out the refs treatment of the Celtic’s Avery Bradley. Smith had four fouls in the opening game of the series while playing just 19 minutes. Half of the questionable fouls were drawn when he was guarding Avery Bradley, and another came when he was chasing Bradley down.
Smith learned his lesson on how to guard Bradley though, as Bleacher Reports Ethan J. Skolnick reports,
“Don’t guard Avery Bradley. Apparently he’s like Kobe now, so I can’t touch him. “
While Bradley did draw a lot of fouls from Smith, he never got to the line. Bradley shot zero free throws the whole night.
J.R. Smith is mad about the refs treatment of Bradley, but he needs to put it in the past and get ready for the next game. The Celtics and Cavaliers play game two in the series on Tuesday in Cleveland.
