On Monday, July 21, 2025, Dreamville announced the God Does Like Ugly tour starring J.I.D. Kicking off on July 24, 2025, the tour will begin in London before making stops in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. The mini-tour will conclude with a show in J.I.D’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, on August 7, 2025.
Following in the footsteps of Dreamville co-founder J. Cole, J.I.D’s God Does Like Ugly tour will function like the Dollar and a Dream tour of years past. Dreamville will distribute tickets for $1 each at a location announced the morning of each show. No advanced tickets will be available online and admission will be awarded to those who arrive first at each location on the day of the show.
J.I.D is building anticipation for his second full-length LP, God Does Like Ugly. Earlier this month, the Atlanta native released the GDLU (Preluxe) EP with contributions from 6LACK, Lil’ Yachty, and Eminem. He also delivered guest verses for Offset’s “Bodies” and Freddie Gibbs’s upcoming album, Alfredo II. Now, he’s heading out on tour before his album drops on August 8, 2025.
