A sequel to the Christmas classic ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ is currently in the works.
Variety is reporting that the title for the sequel ‘It’s a Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story’.
Karolyn Grimes, who played the daughter in the original, is set to return as the angel who shows George Bailey’s grandson how the world would be if he didn’t exist. Casting decisions for the rest of the roles are expected to be finalized around February. The budget is expected to be between $25 million and $35 million.
‘It’s a Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story’ is expected to hit theaters on Christmas 2015.
