The rivalry between the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards continues to grow bigger and bigger as their 2017 NBA Playoffs series goes on. The two squads seemingly began their spat during the season when Wizards star John Wall and Celtics 3 and D wingman Jae Crowder got into it following a January game. Then the Wizards wore all black to their next matchup, a game labeled by the Wiz as a ‘funeral game’. So going into their second round series, everyone was ready for some fun stuff.
The two sides have exchanged words, and shoves, throughout the series but during game 3, the drama went off the court. Celtics star guard Isaiah Thomas had some words for a Wizards fan. According to a video from another fan, Thomas was yelling at a fan and possibly threatening him but the video isn’t necessarily clear enough. But according to the NBA, Thomas did enough to warrant a fine.
