SO. MANY. TRADES! This one has been especially mental because for the first time today. There was conflicting reports. And it’s not surprising since the Phoenix Suns are in the middle of nearly every trade today!
Marc Stein reported that Isaiah Thomas will be the centerpiece of a four team trade. But that was not the case. Literally a few seconds passed and then Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski came in with the correct details. Isaiah Thomas will go to the Boston Celtics while Marcus Thornton and a pick will go to Phoenix.
For Isaiah Thomas, Boston will send Marcus Thornton and a 2016 first-round pick via Cleveland to Phoenix, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

This trade has given Boston, potentially a worthy replacement for Rajon Rondo. Isaiah Thomas is a great, young point guard that came out swinging in Sacramento and then was shipped off to Phoenix to compete for minutes. Now that he’s in Boston. It will be him and Marcus Smart. Which is great depth at the point guard positions.
The Suns are crazy. They have been on the phones all day. Goran Dragic, Tyler Ennis, Zoran Dragic, Isaiah Thomas. They have gone all out today!
