Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green called out Boston Celtics big man Kelly Olynyk for being a dirty player. The reaction of most was to scoff at this response, given Green’s history of not-totally-clean plays. Olynyk’s teammate, Isaiah Thomas, defended Olynyk to the media:

Green seemingly saw this and responded via tweet:
Just get through that series bro….

Now, we can’t know for certain that this tweet was in response to what Thomas said. It does seem highly likely, however.
Green definitely has room to talk. His team has yet to lose a playoff game; the Warriors have now swept both the Portland Trail Blazers and the Utah Jazz.
Thomas’ Celtics, on the other hand, struggled with the eighth-seeded Bulls, needing six games to win the series after losing games one and two in Boston. The Celtics have also lost two consecutive games in their current series against the Washington Wizards. That series is currently tied at two games apiece, and Green is right that winning the series should be Thomas’ main concern. There’s nothing wrong with sticking up for his teammate, though.
