Isaiah Thomas just enjoyed the finest season of his career. From the very last pick in the NBA Draft to becoming an All-Star, the 5’9” point guard is the definition of an NBA rags-to-riches story. Despite that, and his bargain of a contract, he doesn’t think that he’s untradable:
"We ain't got no Michael Jordan here. Anybody can go." – Thomas on if he and Crowder are part of core going forward – #celtics #wbz

This was Thomas’ fifth NBA season, and his second(but first full) one with the Celtics. He had a career year, averaging a career-high 22.2 points to go with 6.2 assists, and 3 rebounds per game. He shot 42.8% from the field, 35.9% from deep, and 87.1& from the free throw line. He played in all 82 games, starting in 79 of them.
Crowder, the other player Thomas was asked about, was perhaps equally as important to the team this season. Crowder averaged career-high per-game numbers in points(14.2), rebounds(5.1), and steals(1.7). He also shot career-high percentages from the field(44.3%), long range(33.6%), and the free throw line(82%). Crowder was the glue of this Boston team, and was fantastic on the defensive end.
The Celtics won 48 games this season, and made the playoffs as the fifth seed in the East. In the playoffs, the Celtics’ offense sputtered, and they fell to the Atlanta Hawks in six games.
