Newly acquired Isaiah Canaan, who was traded away from Houston to Philadelphia, has gone from contender to rebuilding team but that provides him with an opportunity for more shot attempts in the offense with James Harden and Dwight Howard out of the mix. With time expiring on the shot clock Philadelphia was in desperation for a big bucket to cut down Miami’s lead going into half and Canaan ties it with a ridiculous shot that was tipped into the air by Wade.
Canaan has displayed some talent as a Point Guard coming off the bench, and in Philly he’s showing that he can give the team solid minutes as a starter as well.
