Oh Matt Barnes. You’re never going to change are you? You were simply born a badass weren’t you?
Honestly I like it. The badass is a rare breed in the NBA these days. They say and do some stupid stuff. But when you sit them down like Chris Ballard of Sports Illustrated did with Barnes. You gain some great knowledge, and of course a nice quote here and there. This particular one was to all the haters out there.
Barnes is so grateful for your disrespect that he even has a gesture planned. “If I ever win a ring, I’m going to get it sized for my middle finger,” he says. “To thank all the people who doubted me, because you guys are what drove me to my ultimate goal.”
Oh I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But the Clippers are once again, not going to get the championship. If they couldn’t in previous years, they damn sure ain’t getting it now. The Western Conference has somehow, got better! How that happened I’ll never know. But the Clippers haven’t changed much. They have had the exact same core, for years now. What makes this team different from the others?
