Idris Elba has been cast in the live adaptation of ‘The Jungle Book’.
According to Deadline, we will hear the actor roar as he will voice the cunning tiger Shere Khan.
The original book was published back in 1894. It was written by Rudyard Kipling who told the story of a boy named Mowgli who is raised by animals and lives among them in the jungle. Disney released an animated version of the film in 1967 and another live action film in 1994.
The film is being directed by Jon Favreau.
‘The Jungle Book’ is expected to hit theaters on October 9, 2015.
