Scrat is back at it again! “The end of the Ice Age…is just the beginning”, according to the third official trailer for Ice Age: Collision Course. The newest preview shows the gang struggling to deal with asteroids striking the earth, believing they may be facing extinction. The team meets new characters, like the “Shangri Llama”, and engages in their usual shenanigans.
“Scrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colorful new characters” (Official Site).
The film will be opening in theaters on July 22, and stars Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Seann William Scott, Queen Latifah, Simon Pegg, Josh Peck, Keke Palmer, Wanda Skyes, and Jennifer Lopez. Collision Course is directed by Mike Thurmeier and Galen T. Chu, and produced by Blue Sky Studios and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. Watch the third official trailer below.
