Regardless of whether you love him or hate him, you must acknowledge that Manny Pacquiao is one of the most accomplished boxers of all time. Over the course of his two-decade-long career, he’s won titles in eight divisions and shared the ring with legends like Floyd Mayweather Jr., Oscar De La Hoya and Miguel Cotto. After stepping into the ring 69 times as a professional, it appears that Pacquiao’s career may be coming to a close at 42 years old.
Tonight, Pacquiao will share the ring with fellow titlist Yordenis Ugas. Ugas may not have the name recognition that Pacquiao’s past opponents have earned, but he certainly comes to fight every time he’s in the ring. With an efficient work rate and tactical style, Ugas could present problems for Pacquiao. However, Pacquiao’s last performance against Keith Thurman showed that he has more than enough left in him to compete with the world’s best.
