Of course, on the King’s 30th birthday there has to be a comparison. Here’s the following from Sportscenter, comparing LeBron James to Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Here’s a tweet from Sportscenter about the Cleveland Cavaliers star.
Career Points before 30th birthday: -LeBron: 23,801 -Kobe: 21,619 -Wilt: 21,486 -MJ: 20,589 -Kareem: 18,638 pic.twitter.com/4p0xaEulqE

LeBron may need some longevity and health on his side to pass those legends in scoring, but he’s at a great pace. Imagine if he plays 8 more season, could pass that ever remarkable number of 38,387 career points scored. LeBron James is at 23,901, trying to pass Allen Iverson next on the scoring list.
Either way, it causes for some great debate and also calls for some reminiscing of the King’s career.
