The Houston Texans locked up their best offensive weapon Thursday evening.

The 25-year-old wide receiver will have nearly $49 million in guaranteed money. Last offseason, Hopkins held a brief holdout in hopes of getting the money reserved for top receivers like Julio Jones and Antonio Brown. A year later, Hopkins sees his payday just before the 2017 NFL season begins.
Last season, Hopkins caught 78 receptions for 954 yards and two touchdowns. In his four year career, Hopkins has produced 317 receptions for 4,487 yards and 23 touchdowns.
