
Memphis Grizzlies came into this game vs the Houston Rockets sporting the best record in the NBA with a 15-2 record tied with the Golden State Warriors. Earlier in the season the Rockets were blown out by the Grizzlies in Memphis. The Rockets returned the favor Wednesday night blowing out the Grizzlies in Houston 105-96. At the end of the 3rd quarter the Rockets were up 94-68. The Grizzlies only give up 92 points per game to opposing teams which ranks nunber 1 in the NBA.
Memphis waved the white flag as Randolph, Gasol, and Conley did not even play in the 4th quarter at all. James Harden lead all scorers with 21 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assist, 3 steals, & 1 block in 28 minutes of action. Harden didn’t play at all in the 4th quarter either. Trevor Ariza and Jason Terry had 16 points a piece. Marc Gasol was fustrated all night and got a technical in the 2nd quarter for slaming the ball on the ground. Gasol finished the game with 8 points and 7 rebounds, but left the game with knee injury that required a MRI. Everybody in Memphis will be awaiting the results of the MRI today nervously. Zach Randolph also struggled finishing with 8 points and 6 rebounds. Conley had a quiet good night with 15 points and 6 assist. The Grizzlies fall to 15-3 on the season and the Rockets move to 14-4 in the best conference in the NBA the Southwest division.
