‘Hot Tub Time Machine 2’ has received a release date.
According to Deadline, the comedy sequel will hit theaters on Christmas Day this year (Dec. 25, 2014).
The film will center on Lou (Corddry) who is in trouble which leads to Nick (Robinson) and Jacob (Duke) to use the time machine again to go in the past. Something goes wrong and they end up in the future and must change the future to save the present.
Its predecessor starred John Cusack, Clark Duke, Craig Robinson, Sebastian Stan and Rob Corddry. Cusack will not return to the franchise but Adam Scott will play his son in the sequel.
‘Hot Tub Time Machine’ pulled in $50 million domestically back in 2010.
