The Charlotte Hornets have really shaken things up recently, and the offseason is still extremely young. Tonight, they can improve their roster even further with the NBA Draft. Charlotte holds a lottery pick, 9th overall to be exact and they have plenty of directions they can go. According to Ken Berger of CBSSports they have their eye on a certain guard out of Kentucky:
After filling SF void with Batum and adding Lamb, Hornets said to be targeting Devin Booker with ninth pick, sources say.

Devin Booker is one of the smoothest shooters in this year’s class and can provide an outside threat the second he steps into the the league. Spreading the floor for Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson is one of the biggest issues Michael Jordan has been trying to address. Last season, the Hornets went with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist at the starting small forward spot and Lance Stephenson as the starting shooting guard. They’re both elite defensively but lack a consistent jumpshot, especially Kidd-Gilchrist.
Jordan has already gone out and addressed that problem but according to this most recent report they’re not done yet. Charlotte swung a trade for swingman Nicolas Batum from the Portland Trail Blazers. The day after, they went out and acquired guard Jeremy Lamb from the Oklahoma City Thunder. Both these wings were acquired at a decent price and both boast a sweet outside shooting stroke. Adding Booker into the mix could make their offense that much more potent.
